Ordering We spend a great deal of time with the creation of the tile and the layout of each tile order. Variation? Yeah, we’ve got variation. But that is a major characteristic, which makes our products so special. Tile orders will indeed vary across the colour ranges reflected in the tile samples, But have confidence when you buy this tile, we sell it to people that enjoy the fact that our craftsmanship is something that they cannot completely control or dictate. This tile promises soulful, inspired beauty and delivers. We create an ebb and flow of rich and variable shapes and colours, the likes of which can be matched by very few tile studios. Certain customers try and hug us! Contact us at mas-tile@shaw.ca Dimensions Send us a template if necessary or provide raw dimensions. We are precise. Leaf Shapes Usually you want to limit your order to a random leaf mosaic consisting of a mix of over 300 shapes of maple, oak, and other leaf shapes we produce. However, you can have us emphasize maples or oaks and we can probably ensure about ¾ or 75% of the layout will be as such. You also have different 4” x 4” inserts from which to select, and borders 4” or wider can be created. Considering that we manufacture over 300 different leaf shapes, you can imagine that there are a variety of size and shape options if you wish to employ individual tiles of a particular size. Custom Shapes Our studio includes at least one frog in all orders as a means of placing a signature on our work. We also have made roosters, dragonflies and butterflies for patrons on a custom basis. If you have a vision that other suppliers cannot provide, consider us as an option. Our studio is constantly adding new shapes. Selecting Colours a) Standard Colours – There are standard multi-colours (or blends) represented on the display boards. This is the most popular source for colours (Available at dealers). b) Custom Colours – You can also do custom colours based on mixtures of the standard multi-colours. Custom colours require a minimum 10 square foot order. Feel free to send us sample materials, which surround or which should somehow be reflected in the layout. c) Number of Colours in a Layout – One colour works extraordinarily well because our tiles vary so beautifully. However, we encourage our customers to include all of the colours that move them. We will make it work. d) Colour Distribution – We encourage you to designate colours as a percentage of the overall layout (e.g. Old Boot as 60% of the layout, Honey Chalce 40%). NOTE: Canadians spell colour with a “u”. |
